Sam-A Gaiyanghadao is a Muay Thai legend who has won numerous championships, including the first ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title. He is known for his strong defense and counter offense, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all time. Sam-A began his Muay Thai career at a young age, and quickly rose through the ranks. He won his first major championship at the age of 17, and went on to win multiple titles in Thailand and around the world. In 2011, he was named Lumpinee Fighter of the Year and Sport Writers Friends Fighter of the Year. In 2017, Sam-A signed with ONE Championship, the world's largest martial arts organization. He made his ONE debut in the first ever Muay Thai match in the promotion, and defeated Rocky Ogden to become the inaugural ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion. In addition to his accomplishments in ONE Championship, Sam-A is also a successful Muay Thai promoter. He owns his own Muay Thai gym in Thailand, and is actively involved in promoting the sport around the world.
