Sittichai had competed in a 16 man tournament under the W.L.F promotion in China with the winner set to win a million Yen and a fight against the Chinese Superstar fighter Yi Long. Yi Long has a brawling style and is known for his punching power and durability. He went viral in a fight with Kiwi fighter Brad Riddell where he dropped his hands and willingly took a barrage of punches from Riddell. The monk also holds a win over the likes of Buakaw Banchamek, (a very controversial decision) and had knocked out many foreign fighters in China both in Sanda in Kickboxing, However in this fight the Monk would meet his match in Sittichai, who demolished him in 2 rounds.
