Blue would have been safe if he was posting with his rear hand. Very good positional awareness and control by Red as he climbs the body and forces the arm across for the head and arm attack. I'm putting that one in the head and arm play list because of how text book the entry is, he just needs to sharpen that finish a bit. Props to Blue for fighting off that head and arm attempt. 01:18 Blue commits an unforced error by grabbing Red’s leg it made the one in one out situation and set up the mounted triangle attack. Blue could have recovered and threatened the leg by just connecting his knee and elbow. 01:28 Good work by Red as he realizes the position he doesn’t freak out he takes his time look for the hip switch at 01:32 as he sets himself up to put on finishing pressure. 02:08 Never really seen that defense. IMO it’s better to avoid this position late escapes from here are very problematic. 02:29 That looked like an arm attack. He was a little loose with the triangle. He wasn’t sitting down on it enough with forward hip pressure and he wasn’t pulling up on the head. But it didn’t matter because the arm was there. It’s so hard to defend everything from that position.
