This contest between the athletic Xandra and the superheroic Spider-Leva begins with a little discussion about nomenclature. Is it Spider-Woman, Spider-Person, Spidey? And, once that’s settled on, is sheer “awesomeness” enough to trump superhero status? The pair decide to find out, beginning with a long test of strength that doesn’t go too well for Spidey, starting off a pattern of punishment that indicates that maybe awesomeness IS enough to beat your average webslinger. Leva does not fare too well while being squashed into a corner, hoisted up and Bodyslammed repeatedly with ease, Suplexed or kicked in the head. In fact, for a superhero, Spidey takes a considerable amount of punishment here without putting up so much as an iota of resistance as Xandra dominates her with seemingly little effort. A final standing Bearhug puts the diminutive superhero down for good without Xandra having so much as broken a sweat.
