Publisher's Summary A Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover comes a novel that explores life after tragedy and the enduring spirit of love. When Leeds meets Layla, he’s convinced he’ll spend the rest of his life with her - until an unexpected attack leaves Layla fighting for her life. After weeks in the hospital, Layla recovers physically, but the emotional and mental scarring has altered the woman Leeds fell in love with. In order to put their relationship back on track, Leeds whisks Layla away to the bed-and-breakfast where they first met. Once they arrive, Layla’s behavior takes a bizarre turn. And that’s just one of many inexplicable occurrences. Feeling distant from Layla, Leeds soon finds solace in Willow - another guest of the B&B with whom he forms a connection through their shared concerns. As his curiosity for Willow grows, his decision to help her find answers puts him in direct conflict with Layla’s well-being. Leeds soon realizes he has to make a choice because he can’t help both of them. But if he makes the wrong choice, it could be detrimental for all of them. ©2020 Colleen Hoover (P)2020 Brilliance Publishing, Inc., all rights reserved.

Could not wait until over. Reader was good but story dump. Glad when I heard the end
Layla is a bit different than Colleen Hoover's other books but gosh what a breath of fresh air!Just buckle up, let go and go for the ride. Yes,it teeters on the edge a bit but just go for it! Well done, Colleen Hoover! Well Done!Narration was great too and I honestly had a hard time not listening. It kept me totally entertained. Let me know if this was helpful. Fun read! Entertaining! Go for it!
Unimaginative ghost story. Also, the voice the narrator uses for the women in the story is painful to listen to.
While this was a really wild book, the resolution just wasn't as twisty as i expected it to be. It was a great book though, so yes, I highly recommend it. But I expected to have one of those "OMG" moments. Narration was great!
I just did not like the paranormal stuff. The narrator was good but storyline not so much unless you are into ghost.
This book threw me for a loop. I was super confused in the beginning and was thinking WTF is going on. But by the end it all made sense. I always wonder what these authors of crazy stuff have going on in their brain that they can come up with this crazy book hang over content, how warped are they? I listened to this book on Audible. Normally I listen to my books at 2.2 speed. This one I had to slow down to 1.6. I'm not sure why. The narrator didn't have an accent or anything difficult to listen to. It wasn't overly complicated to follow, but I needed to slow it down. I have already been recommending this book to friends. Free on Kindle Unlimited including the audible. Go get it now!!!!
Just couldn’t get in to this one.. dislike the main character, Leeds. I finished it though because I did want to know how it ended. I love Colleens work, this one was just a miss for me.
Completely unbelievable. I usually really like Colleen Hoover’s but this one was yikes! No. No. No.
This book is miss labeled, it is sci-fi! If you hate sci-fi as much as I do do not buy! Waste of money returning!
The middle of the story was really boring.. not bad as you want to know what is going to happen at the end.. but still boring
