This movie was a tedious 1.45 hours. I sat there in awe of how unbelievably awful it truly was. There was so much of the dialogue I couldn't understand (when the Klumps would converse) and the storyline and plot just was awful. Do yourselves a favor and don't see it. You'll be checking your watch every 5 minutes and wishing you were 8 dollars richer.
I didn't like it. Nope. Not very much at all. That's why I gave it only three stars.
A sequel is never great but I gave this movie a 4 because it wasn't very funny and it was way too long for a movie like this
What an awful excuse for a movie. Has Eddie Murphy gotten so cheap that he won't hire other actors. He has no one to blame but himself for this travesty. No plot, no redeeming value, and very little fun. If he had hired a cast instead of doing it all himself this film MIGHT have been saved.
Even though the title is annoying, I thought "The Klumps" was better than the first. Sure, its jokes are somewhat disgusting, but it's still surprisingly touching. The plot is interesting and you can't help but fall for the Klump family.
The first Nutty Professor was actually a funny remake of the now legendary Jerry Lewis movie. In some ways actually funnier than its original. This sequel is almost not at all funny. As much farting as there is a lack of story which is quite a lot. There are a few witty moments but most of the time Eddie Murphy dirt talks his way through his many roles. How incredibly he may mask himself he fails to make actual dialog between the characters and the talking quickly becomes a tiring cacophony of words. Thomas Nielsen
