Such a good story and great person reading it. GET IT! If you like Greek gods and goddesses demons and other mythical creatures you'll love this series
It was worth the wait! Ms. Kenyon did another great job with this installment of CON. I loved how she was able to bring out the backstory and explain why things were the way they were in the CON universe. I love listening to Mr. Graham's voice and his excellent performance. My only quibble was to me it seemed that Kryian's voice was different in this book than the previous ones. That took me out of the story for a moment. Still, it was an excellent narration and Mr. Graham is definitely my favorite male narrator.
In this book, Nick is learning, albeit the hard way, who he can trust and who's smiling while holding a knife behind their back. I was a little disappointed there was only a brief mention of Acheron, but the Simi got to break out the bbq sauce. We got a new ally, loving his Scottish ass.
I really did enjoy this book. There were intense moments when I said to myself 'that can't happen'. The narrator Holter Graham did a great job. It's always a pleasure to listen to him. I felt that the end was rushed way too much. I wish it would have lasted longer. I felt like I do when I get rushed out the door 3 seconds after I finish eating. As well there were some details and particulars that should have been delved into more.Once again Sherrilyn Kenyon has given us another gem. I did like most of the story except for what I mentioned above. I don't know how she keeps giving us these great books to read but I hope she keeps doing it and never stops.
