Welcome back, here's another super easy low-ingredient recipe, and this one is for the Twix Lovers. This is how to make amazing 5-ingredient Twix style cookies and they're so easy to make! If you love Twix's combination of shortbread, caramel, and chocolate these are definitely for you. I like to top mine off with a generous chunk of Twix on top. The ingredient list is below, so let's head to the kitchen and get stuck in! All you need is: For the shortbread cookies: 105g unsalted butter, softened (7 1/2 tablespoons) 55g granulated sugar (1/4 cup) 160g plain flour (1 1/4 cup) For the topping: 8 tbsp thick caramel sauce (1/2 cup) 75g-100g milk chocolate, melted (about 1/2 to 2/3 cup) Optional homemade caramel to replace shop-bought caramel: 45g unsalted butter (3 tablespoons) 50g light brown sugar or dark brown sugar (1/4 cup) 1/2 tin (200g) condensed milk (About 7 ounces or a little less than 2/3 cup) 1/2 tbsp golden syrup (honey or light corn syrup) 1/4-1/2 tsp salt Tip: The best way to up your baking skills is to put down the cups and get a kitchen scale to measure your ingredients accurately Enjoy!
