A test of strength caps off a methodical beginning of this match-up as Heather and Sofia try to determine which one is stronger. When neither one can gain an advantage, Sofia turns it into a Hammerlock and rolls up Heather for an early 2 count. Back on their feet, Sofia goes off the ropes and gets snared in an elevated Bearhug. Heather backs her into the corner, then stomps her and foot chokes her against the bottom turnbuckle. Heather locks Sofia in an over-the-knee Backbreaker submission, then a one-legged Boston Crab. Sofia escapes, whips Heather into the corner, then catches her in a Bearhug of her own. A couple well-placed elbow strikes from Heather send the two to the mat, where they trade forearm strikes. An Irish Whip results in a double Clothesline as both struggle to get back to their feet. Sofia is up first, throwing Heather into the corner, where she stomps on Heather, then delivers a running knee to the face. Sofia drags Heather to the middle of the ring, but can only score a 2 count. She lifts Heather into an elevated Bearhug, but Heather manages to wrap her arm around Sofia’s neck and into a Side Headlock. With Heather losing air and Sofia losing strength, the two fall to the mat, with neither willing to release their respective hold. Who will give in first?
