However, this time around, we are not beginning the show with the Battle City Finals, despite the cliffhanger ending. Instead, the gang are reunited with those corporate suits from that one filler episode in Season 1, and transported into yet another virtual world. Sadly this one doesn't last 3 episodes, but rather half the season. So before we can continue what we built up the entire second season to, we gotta deal with ... this. Welp! Looks like we're going to have to wait a while before we can get back to the Battle City Finals. Welcome to Season 3, everyone! We just entered one of the worst arcs in the series, and that is saying something. Also, for some reason, this season is titled "Enter The Shadow Realm" despite the fact that the Shadow Realm is absent for 90% of it.
