Christine was the first Stephen King book I ever read way back when and it's excellent! Holter Graham did it justice too , however, it seems that in the editing process the ends of sentences were clipped off many times, often leaving no pause between sentences and sometimes losing words. what a shame , otherwise it was great.
What did you love best about Christine?Crazy guy and possessive car. So much more than the movie. What other book might you compare Christine to and why?Maybe Burnt Offerings, the house kills to rejuvenate itself. What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?Yes. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?The last conflict between Arnie and Dennis when Dennis was baiting the villain in the school parking lot.
Far better than the movie. One of SK's better books. Maybe top ten. Not as scary as It or The Shining, but entertaining with a great narrator.
