Its Marina’s sass against April’s……brain? Yes that is the prematch banter and referee Jason Cade does his best to warn Marina not to test it, but he probably didn’t expect her to listen. The veteran uses that brain well early working smarter not harder to accomplish things that are taking much more effort for Marina to do. Capitalizing on Tucker’s frustration and Cade's less than stellar ref skills for some rope-assisted mischief including a stranglehold in the ropes. Marina’s had enough of being shown up and April learns how low she can go, very low. Tucker is eager to test the ref as well adding illegal variants to otherwise well executed submissions. But April is no stranger to going low and has the bravado to not even try to hide it from the ref who might at this point be just slightly biased. The brain continues to take advantage of the openings her ref is providing but eventually settles into a quite legal flow of a Guillotine Choke, naked choke scissors and seated Surfboard. But why play fair when the Ref doesn’t seems to care is the sassy way to go and Marina forces April down to her level as eyes and backs are raked, hair is pulled, and a pin is scored by any means necessary.
