In December 2010, Dolph faced Johnny Curtis. Dolph dodged the leg drop and hit Curtis with the Zig Zag to win the match. A week later, Dolph was in a battle royal. R-Truth eliminated Ricardo Rodriguez. Dolph eliminated Daniel Bryan. Ted DiBiase eliminated Truth. Then Dolph eliminated Ted and Chris Masters to win the match. In August 2013, Dolph faced Alexander Rusev. Dolph dodged the splash and hit Rusev with the Zig Zag to win the match. In February 2022, Dolph faced Tommaso Ciampa for a chance at the NXT Title. Bron caught Dolph with a spear, went for the powerslam, Dolph went for the eyes, threw him into the exposed turnbuckle and superkicked him to retain the title.
