Normally, I would write an introduction meant to help whoever reads this get more hyped for the awesome show we’re going to witness. I want to use this to talk about how poetic the return of All In truly is. When the original All In was just a concept that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks had to prove Dave Meltzer wrong, that an independent show outside of WWE could sell 10,000 tickets. Fast forward five years, in that time, that one “indie show” spawned the first genuine mainstream alternative to WWE since they bought their competition. Not only that, but they have done something even their most diehard fans, myself included, were doubting they could do. They have set the record for paid attendance for a wrestling promotion. Regardless of preference, what AEW has accomplished from day one is nothing short of remarkable, and as a fan who was there on day one at the Jacksonville press conference, it’s a joy to see their success.
