Abominable

This is such a cute, colorful movie. The animation is beautiful and the story is simple but sweet. Better than any Disney movie I have seen in a long time. Makes you what a yeti :)

I have watched it three times so far. Abominable is heart touching story, with stimulating visuals and mellifluous music. It is a simple yet powerful movie and with a story that takes you on a journey.

There is no way this movie is a 9 or a 10. Not a chance. It's not a 1 either but it definitely ranks low to medium as an animated movie. I found it boring and spent most of my time looking for the China propaganda to pass my time. Young kids thought it was ok, but haven't mentioned it once in the days following us viewing it, which shows it is easily forgettable for kids too.

I went to see this with my daughter, I went in not really knowing what to expect from the movie and left so touched by just the messages in the movie. The humor was great and hearing all the children constantly laughing made my evening. It was fantastic! IF I had to pick a CON, at first I thought the beginning was dragged out, but it is needed in my opinion for the rest of the movie, where it all fits in!!! Great movie! will be buying when its released.

Saw the trailer, not much impression. Went to watch it with friends, come back surprisingly entertained. The story is heartwarming, and there are plenty of funny scenes too.

Abominable is a gorgeously animated film that should delight all children (and a lot of adults) with its stunning animation, original storyline and heartfelt messaging. All aspects of the animation process are seamlessly meshed in this film, and the end result is an extraordinary animated feature. A pleasing storyline, great character designs including the lovable "Everest", visually mesmerizing backgrounds and skillful cinematography, ensure that this film should delight most audiences, of all ages. All the sequences be they, the skyscrapers of urban Shanghai, or the rivers and mountains of rural China, are breathtaking beautiful and intrinsically detailed. The film is a delight to watch. I found it charming and visually pleasing on so many fronts. The musical score is a perfect accompaniment to the animation. It is patently obvious that this project is close to the Writer and Director, Jill Culton's heart.

Seriously though this is the best children's movie. No monsters or other scary characters. Definitely a feel good and very enjoyable movie. Beautiful and heartfelt
