In the fourth match of the first-round at NEW 3, the unconventional Eli Surge battles one-half of State of Emergency, the always intense Miles Deville as they both begin their Chase for the NEW Championship. Deville was not only brought to the ring by his manager Kristopher Kassidy, but NEW General Manager Alex Plexis also joined the crowd, eventually taking over at commentary alongside J. Bowman.
