It's funny that this 'CAmeras' thing became a Franchise. 3rd in the CAMERAS TRILOGY (so far), made by Gravitas Ventures for the IFC Channel! I really enjoyed the first two and this 3rd one it starts out good! +1 Star for the opening! Haha. The Slumlord Tapes? Now the guy is a slumlord eh? Funny. Oh no! It gets a -1 Star for having a shower scene and showing no nudity! We have rules for our reviews!!!! When his girlfriend calls him a DIRTY OLD MAN that was the one statement in the movie to which I could most relate! Oh come on! The end sucks. Terrible Terrible thing they did. Shame on whoever made this. 4/10.

Many writing errors that I don't want to reveal so as not to spoilerThe character of the boy who looks at the cameras secretly and really useless cannot convey anything interesting they could find a better interpreter since he turns almost all around him who looks at the cameras clearly is also written this character because honestly to do what what He did it from the face it seemed that he had found Eldorado, however even the other character are sometimes too contradictory and this also does not help the vision of the film, then always talking about the boy's character and too exaggerated it is very bad, perhaps to make him unpleasant and annoying To the viewer he does some really stupid things that even a 5 -year -old boy would do and then everything is happy !!!! Honestly, it seems only stupid to me as it is written! You can watch but it is certainly not a revisable film.

This one for sure had a very different vibe than the first two. While the previous ones were darker and creepier, this one was more light hearted and almost sillier. As a stand alone I thought that this style and vibe was fine, but as a third in this series I didn't really think it matched up all that well and the cohesion wasn't there for me. Personally, I would have preferred it to have kept the same atmosphere as it's predecessors... but as I said, as a stand alone it was generally entertaining. The acting was good across the board. The same as my sentiments for this movie within the trio, I feel similarly about the actor who played Cam. I thought he did a good job with the character and he is a good actor, however I did not like him in this movie within this series. I just didn't think his delivery matched the tone of the movie or the greater work as a whole. Despite all of this, they still did a good job with this movie. As far as picture quality, shots and editing goes, this one was superior out of the three. They put a nice little twist onto it that made it stand out from the prior two and didn't just regurgitate the same movie for a third time. It was a positive experience at the end of the day and while it wasn't anything extraordinary, if you enjoyed the first two I would recommend you view this one as well.

I really had no expectations at all when I started watching this film. I knew about the first 2 movies and that it was on the lower budget side so there wasn't much to anticipate for. However, after watching many mediocre films released for Halloween 2023, I have to say that this one pleasantly surprised me! It's no masterpiece but the acting, directing and plot were very decent. It also had some comedic/cringy moments that really worked for me (yeah, I'm talking about the husband). I'd like to see more from the team behind it (including the actors). Overall a good watch for horror fans who watch all kinds of horror movies and not only the big budget ones.

Started off where a couple bought one of the houses where slumlord operated, complete with hidden cams all over the house that no one knows. The girl (Sky) is obsessed with the case while the guy (Cam, im assuming his name is Cameron, Camilio or something like that) found out about the hidden observation room and decided to kept the hobby for himself. They decided to rent out half the place and Cam suggested that they should get girls tenant. OK, we know what he's trying to do. Its funny and awkward to see his interaction with the tenants. So awkward, i get 2nd hand embarrassment watching it. That guy is sus AF. When things go south, he cant call the cops cuz he's guilty as well or he cant abandon his new hobby... who knows. At the end of it, we get the old "hit the bad guy 1 time and attempt to run away" BS. A must have for every horror film. Luckily we get 'rewarded' with a spinning eyeball. Nice. A fun thriller, i'd say. I better go check my showerhead.
