India’s No.4 problem in ODI cricket refuses to go away. Looking at the last few ODI series, one question keeps coming back — what exactly is Team India’s plan for the No.4 position? Rishabh Pant was seen as a back-up option, yet since 2023 he’s been given just one ODI game. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a century, and still found himself out of the playing XI soon after. In this episode of #Aakashvani, I break down: India’s approach to the No.4 batter in ODIs Why performances aren’t translating into continuity The mixed signals given to players like Rishabh Pant and Ruturaj Gaikwad Whether the team management has been unfair to the No.4 role Is this poor planning, lack of clarity, or simply indecision from the think tank? Let’s talk about the injustice surrounding India’s ODI No.4 position. 👇 Drop your thoughts in the comments. #TeamIndia #ODICricket #IndianCricket #No4Batter #RishabhPant #RuturajGaikwad #CricketAnalysis #Aakashvani #SelectionDebate Join me on my socials here: Telegram here: https://t.me/AakashChopraOfficial Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cricketaakash Twitter / X: https://www.x.com/cricketaakash Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AakashChopraOfficial Production: @FortyTwoMedia x iOpener Check out custom-made bats that take your batting to the next level from Z-bat here: www.z-bat.com Tags: Cricket News and Analysis with Aakash Chopra
