This time we look at Mortis, the character played by Chris Kanyon in WCW. On TV the Mortis character was given little backstory; a very brief promo on WCW Saturday Night allowed Vandenberg to talk about how Mortis was discovered but nothing else was really explored. The WCW Magazine expanded on the Mortis origin story quite a lot by talking about Vandenberg's previous job, the places where Mortis visited to become the performer he was, why he looked the way he did, and it even hinted as to why Mortis had issues with Glacier.
