Lexi takes on Ariel in what turns out to be a very methodical showdown that results in several stalemates. Ariel takes an opportunity during the opening handshake to stamp on Lexi’s foot, but Lexi takes him to the mat. Ariel locks on a Headscissors, but Lexi escapes and the 2 start over. Ariel pokes Lexi in the eyes before the next lockup, then takes her to the mat with a Side Headlock. Lexi powers out and applies an armbar, but Ariel counters it into a Figure Four Leglock. Lexi powers out, and once again the two prepare to lock up. This happens throughout this battle, with the 2 swapping positions, as one will take an early advantage only to be countered by the other, eventually resulting in a rope break. They try to work each other over with Abdominal Stretches, Sleeperholds, and a crossface. Things start to pick up as the match nears its conclusion, with Lexi nailing Ariel with 2 running Clotheslines, then a Clothesline in the corner. The action spills out of the ring briefly before several quick reversals result in a surprise roll-up and 3 count to end this evenly matched battle.
