Sumie seems more interested in Koalas than wrestling Jessie, but McKay gets her full attention real quick. Quick is in fact a defining theme as blink during the opening exchange of holds and counters and you’re likely to miss a couple. Jessie’s certainly no slouch in this department but the smaller Sumie seems able to get inside the lanky Aussie and a tight Headscissors has Jessie stretching for the ropes with desperation in her voice. McKay gets the best of some lightning quick rope work but she senses she’s playing with fire and opts for a ground game instead. Weathering several submissions Sumie changes her game as well as takes advantage of a mediocre ref with eyerakes, a Hairmare and a seated Deathlock while gnawing on Jessie’s finger! Sumie ups her aggression with a rope choke and a very tight Figure Four Headscissor. She continues to alternate clean moves like a perfect Dropkick to McKay in the corner with decidedly unclean Stinkface. Jessie avoids an encore by giving the ref a seat and roars back with a vengeance only to have said ref not be in position for a potential fall. The poor ref ends up taking serious collateral damage and becomes a stepping stone for Sumie’s Code Red but again is in no shape to count. Sumie takes Jessie’s moniker of Everyone’s Favorite Girlfriend a little too literally, will the shock factor be enough to send McKay back home to the Koalas?
