Henry Moodie - drunk text (Live) | Vevo DSCVR When the choruses are this catchy, when the verses are so personally revealing, when the vocals so completely share the emotions driving them - that's when you know you're dealing with a pop music expert. Henry Moodie's career is just getting going, but the handful of tunes he's shared so far - "You Were There For Me," "Eighteen," "Pick Up The Phone" - are so meticulously crafted and passionately delivered that it's obvious the UK teen boasts a wisdom beyond his years. And the world is starting to notice. The Guildford native also has a charisma that certainly help bolster his brand. From TikTok fun to YouTube videos, he's shared his personality with an ever-growing legion of fans. In the last 18 months, he's become a respected emerging figure on the Brit pop scene, opening for the Vamps and touring with Mimi Webb. A devout Swiftie, Moodie makes sure his work has the same sleek construction as that of his hero. "I ended up falling in love with songwriting because that was how I would channel my emotions If something happened in school, I would come back from school and write about it, so I guess it kind of came from within." When he arrived in our studio to perform "closure" and "drunk text," he was as candid and composed as any of our previous invitees. File under: real deal.
