In 1992, Booker T and Stevie Ray wrestled for the Dallas-based Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) as The Ebony Experience. Managed by Gary Hart, they quickly became a dominant force, securing the GWF Tag Team Championship in July 1992 and establishing the foundation for their legendary run in the WCW tag team landscape as Harlem Heat. Global Wrestling Federation was an American professional wrestling promotion based in Dallas, Texas which existed from June 1991 until September 1994. GWF was the last pro wrestling promotion to be broadcast on ESPN regularly.
