🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION: Gary Russell Jr. looked as sharp as ever despite being 37 years old and sidelined for more than three years, delivering a one-sided beatdown of Hugo Castaneda on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The former two-time featherweight world champion scored four knockdowns before crushing Castaneda with a 10th-round stoppage in their lightweight clash on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao’s WBC welterweight title fight against Mario Barrios. Castaneda (15-3-1, 11 KOs) came out aggressively from the opening bell, hoping to overwhelm the veteran, but Russell’s elite hand speed, razor-sharp timing, and pinpoint accuracy quickly took over.
