Of all these videos this is the first I’ve seen of someone hitting that bodylock in hobbyist competition. The problem is in a straight grappling exchange the guy can just move his hips away. Where as, in real fighting the guy wants to straighten up to throw punches and you can crush his hips and back. Bodylock is excellent for fighting and here Blue is has made it work twice. That was a great flow that followed the bodylock 02:21 Very nice escape from triangle danger by Red then transition to the single leg. 04:27 Blue lets him get too far around his back without squaring up or bailing on the technique.
