Lest one forgets, “Woman” includes “Man”. And so it is with “Aurat”, a song which provides listeners a timely reminder about the significance, relevance, and unmatched power of women in our lives, whether as individuals, wives, mothers or in multiple roles, and their extraordinary importance within society. These sentiments are captured in this captivating poetry written in 1999 by Siddharth Kasyap, who also recites the poem here with his precise and distinctive diction, doubling up as its remarkable composer too. In all walks of life, there is no role beyond the capabilities of a woman, whether as a professional or simply as a person, who provide their inherent proficiency to perfection. “Aurat” provides a fitting tribute to the unstinting and unselfish efforts of women, which has resulted in stimulating unity and happiness that remains the global need of the hour. This ode to womanhood is supported by an effective composition, also created by lyricist Siddharth Kasyap, reinforced by poignant passages by flautist Pandit Ronu Majumdar and by Atul Raninga’s appropriate music arrangement, reiterating the perfection of “Aurat”, both as her noble self, and as the subject of this song. throughout “Aurat”, the minimalistic musical backdrops remain supportive to the theme, but the emphasis skilfully remains on Siddharth Kasyap’s carefully constructed wordings, leading to not only essential listening for spoken word aficionados, but to a discerning audience that goes way beyond... #siddharthkasyap #skmusicworks #aurat #womensday #womenempowerment #womensday ------------------------------------------- Audio Music , Poetry Written & Recited : Siddharth Kasyap Music Arranged & Programmed : Atul Raninga Flute : Ronu Majumdar Music Design : Rishikesh Kamerkar Mix & Mastered : P.A.
